Naples
Naples is friendly. The people are open-minded, the sun is inviting and the architecture welcomes. A person's spirit flourishes in the heat of the colours.

Originality in many senses
So the heat and colours are mostly visible in the streets of central Naples. Street vendors and apartments crowd the roads, assembling to observe humanity below them. Along with street lamps, windows and vibrant posters, they're engaged in an amphitheatre fiasco where the fighters battle with their minds on buying goods. Are they going to go for that calzone takeaway? Do they have enough cash to buy that one-of-a-kind bracelet? It's a bustling atmosfera animata, filled with seasoning, intricate visuals and laughter.

The person might take herself to the small restaurant on the corner to grace their mind with a Neapolitan pizza and a glass of succulent wine. The two would mix on her palate, providing a warm la sensazione di conforto, filling every crevice of her mouth like lava.

Or, the person might take herself to the shore to see the lively city from a place of peace. She might take in the opportunity to notice the contrast between the level sea and the architectural intricacies of the urban life. There isn't much overcrowding her hearing other than il trasporto di Napoli and the laughter of families playing in the sand.

Tomorrow, she could get up early in the morning and take a trek verso il Vesuvio. The deadly and tempestuous landmark of nature looks over urban life, tall and threatening. But once she gets there, grumpy Grandfather Vesuvius isn't quite as dangerous as she thought: he is rather more protective of the inhabitants around him and wants to show the wonders and the history of his scars.

What ties each aspect of the area together is their sincerity. The history is real, the food is real and the humanity is real. It's all accepted into the culture and presented in a natural light.
